When I look at 2015 as a whole, it was filled with many adventures, love, heartache and repair. Some relationships I broke off because I refuse to settle for being berated, talked down to and accused of doing things that I had no control over. Other relationships, I found a strong bond with, pursued further and built strongly. It was full of heartache as my father died and I encountered another death before the year had ended. BUT as I read through what I have accomplished, the biggest accomplishment was marrying my best friend and giving up diets or the rest of my life. This doesn’t mean that I will eat out of control BUT it does mean that I will no longer be a restricted, binge eater and I can move forward in my life by repairing and closing what food has suppressed for the past 30 years of my life.
16 GOALS for 2016:
  1. Become the best version of me. This will include leaving things, people, relationships, and hardships in 2015 that will not be brought up as past thing in 2016.
  2. Continue not to diet and find my strength in the gym.
  3. Run 10 5k’s and 2 10k’s.
  4. Love myself in ALL forms and phases my body will go through.
  5. Journal for 10 minutes each day, minimum.
  6. Read a minimum of 3 hours each week.
  7. Compete in minimum 2 Powerlifting competitions.
  8. Laugh More.
  9. Build a stronger relationship with my daughter.
  10. Eat Well.
  11. Do more DIY projects.
  12. Stay organized.
  13. Blog 3 times a week, at a minimum.
  14. Pay off 50% or more of my debt.
  15. Travel to a minimum of 3 new places with people I love.
  16. Build a stronger, deeper relationship with my husband.
Life is too short to fill it with people and things that are not good for my soul. Life is also too short to sit around and wish that I had done more or went more places. 2016 I will leave a lot of things and people in 2015. I will carry my dad with me always but 2016 I will free myself of the “shoulda, woulda, coulda’s” and fill it with God’s promise that I can do all things through him.

HERE is to the BEST year of repairing my soul!
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
