There are few things that I can eat over and over for lunches. Back in the day, when I would meal prep, three days was all I could get before I was scouring the cupboards for something else because I was so bored with the same food over and over. The only reason why I continued to keep the same foods in rotation is because I knew that I could hit my macros for the day and I didn’t have to think about it. But, week after week, I would find myself on day four hating my life because I was sick of eating the same thing.
It is a radical thought in our culture sometimes for one to consider that peace can happen within grieving. But, it’s true and this is why I think so....
My favorite time of the year is here! From October until about April, I LOVE IT! Michigan is one of the most beautiful states and I am so blessed to be able to live here. We have the best fall season with all of the beautiful colors and the farther North you go, the better it gets.
Last November, Andrew and I had this crazy idea to do our very first Whole30 round during the holidays. Smart, right? Actually, it was a very good idea and we even took it as far as having Christmas dinner at our house so we could make it all compliant, the good news? Not a soul knew with the exception of my mother. Even she was blown away.
Friends, we have 90 days until January 1. 90 days. Can you honestly believe it? With that, comes two different options. There is the option of wading life out until January 1 so the "new year, new me" motivates you. Or, there is the option of getting after goals right now and finishing the year strong so that when January comes, you can have a fresh set of goals instead of playing catch up from what you didn't do this year.
