As mentioned in my June goal recap post (here), I noted that I had read two books. I wanted to save the titles for a book review post to go more in depth on them. So, let’s dive in!
I’ve decided that I am going to keep my July Goals fairly simple considering that this month is truly the last full month of the summer! August will have to consist of getting my middle schooler (I know, I know, CRAZY!) everything she needs. (YAY! Lists!) The end of August starts the crazy schedule again and I just can’t believe it is coming so soon. With that, I plan on soaking in as much summer as I possibly can during July!
I feel like I was just sitting down to think about my June goals. I also feel like I say this every time a new month comes around. Who do we need to contact to slow down how fast life seems to be moving lately? Anyone?
I am happy to report that overall, it was a productive month with a little surprise at the end that kept me pretty busy! This surprise, however, deserves its own little post this week. So stay tuned! However, if you follow me on IG, I may have already blown my cover!
Let’s take a little walk down memory lane on what my June goals were. Shall we?
These past couple weeks have been quite busy so, thank you to all of you who continue to find new things to read on my blog! Make no mistake, however, I have been keeping busy finding new things to love this month! My goals have also been keeping me on track! More on that though, when the month ends!
I have sat down to re-cap this day in words a hundred times. In almost the literal sense. I have sat down to try and understand and comprehend where my head was that day and how I can make sense of it now. The truth is, I still can’t.
April 29, 2017 was a victory, loss and very confusing day all around. It was a day that I was hopeful and wishing that I could just re-live and do so many things differently. But, like everything else that happens in life, there is no opportunity to do that, and that is just fine. However, it is what you do with the experience, moving forward, that makes it a success or a failure.
I still, as I am sifting through my thoughts on trying to write this piece, I am confused on what I should say first.
