When I was a little girl, I could probably name three things that I received for my birthday, in the same breathe, I could name all of the places I have been, the cool things I got to do and what it felt like to be there. When I was thinking about Daniella’s 10th birthday, I wanted to do something that would give her an experience. Something that she would be able to remember forever. Something that she didn’t have to share with classmates, friends, etc.
We decided on Chicago! This would be her very first road trip in the car (outside of Michigan) AND her first big city experience. She was so very excited. Our agenda was to go early Friday, eat, walk down town, and eat at the famous Giordano’s pizza. Saturday was an all-day experience at The American Girl Doll Store. We had planned to stay all weekend but the hotel we were at, had too many experiences, plus we were all exhausted and ready to be in our own beds, we decided to come home in the late evening.
Below are some pictures of our adventure! She had the best time with her American Girl doll and it was a great experience.
After a tiring day, I bribed her to come home and promised to take her bowling the next day, and we did.
I live to make this little girl happy and give her the things my mom tried so hard to give me. Each day as she grows, she make me so proud and honored to be her mother. Happy 10th birthday baby girl, mommy loves you so much more than you will ever know.
