My favorite time of the year is here! From October until about April, I LOVE IT! Michigan is one of the most beautiful states and I am so blessed to be able to live here. We have the best fall season with all of the beautiful colors and the farther North you go, the better it gets.
And yes, I turn full basic girl in the winter and I am not even ashamed of it. Not even one bit. There are some new and repeat things that help me continue the trend of basic fall girl.
This cardigan is everything and it is my favorite color for fall, mustard! The only downfall of this cardigan is that I didn’t buy every single color they had available. It hits the body in a nice area and is just a really good basic to have in the closet.
Since leaving a lot of chemicals behind when doing a round of Whole30, there are a lot of things that I no longer can consume. Regular creamer, or even sugar free creamer is one of them. These Nutpods are my absolute favorite and if you have a frother, it does foam.
I am still in meal prep mode even though I am working from home. It is just nice to have consistency and keep the good habit. This creamy bacon recipe is everything and the easiest thing to make! Because I am the only one who eats it, it lasts me 3-4 days of lunches.
I have expressed how much I love Hilltop Designs before and in fall, it is no exception! This olive oil balm is perfect for my skin at night with the cold starting to creep in and if you are sold on this or some other products, Allison is amazing at getting what you need, plus being in her Facebook group, we have a good time with a tons of deals always happening!
If I’m being honest, I’ve never really been in to purchasing exfoliating products for my face. I have the morning mix sugar scrub from Hilltop Designs and that has been a gem. However, I received this Elf Exfoliator in my last order and wow. I cannot believe the difference it has made and for the price…I am just in awe. My skin has taken a shift and I am now a believer. I still love the sugar scrub for my body but this Elf is just what my face needed!
If you missed that I chopped all my hair off (again), you can see it here. We are just in the beginning stages or shifting to blonde but in the meantime, I have been using this Prevana mask when I wash my hair the once a week I do (yes, you read that right) and it has been SO GOOD! If you are a blonde or considering the shift, this has to be a staple!
I am so excited for the weather to chill down a little further and to escape some place warmer in November (stay tuned for that surprise!) for my belated birthday! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and if you have a fall favorite that you think I need to try, comment below!
