With recognizing in my last post of what I did, didn’t do and learned over my time away on the blog, I have come to a fresh light of taking the larger things that I would like to accomplish and breaking them down into monthly goals. Now, I am not sure why this took me until June to figure it out, but hey! Here it is now, right? That counts for something.
Goal #1: Journal every day!
This has been on my goal list since the beginning of the year BUT as with everything else I am trying to figure out, I really think shutting down the TV and focusing on self-reflection of the day is something worthwhile.
Goal #2: Read TWO books!
I have had two books sitting on my floor (yes, I know---eye roll) for the past few months. I really need to just get into them! “Goodbye for Now” by Laurie Frankel and “Await Your Reply” by Dan Chaon have been teasing me. So, this month, I am on a mission to get them read and reviewed! So, stay tuned!
Goal #3: Get back on track!
I love my happy planner and the training planner I had before I went on this hiatus of mine. Getting back to the basics and foundations that have made successful in the past, will be the new and final goal for this month. I have downloaded a new app for tracking food, I beautified my weekly spread in my happy planner and I am on the search for that dusty planner for my training. But, once I do find it in my mess, I will be well on my way!
Goal #4: De-clutter and have a sale!
This really should be #1. However, taking care of my mind seems to be more appropriate. I AM GOING TO DE-CLUTTER! Everyone say it with me: I AM GOING TO DE-CLUTTER! Oh, and have a sale to see if anyone wants my junk! My one rule: If some of it or none of it sells, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING comes back into the house. To donation it goes!
So there you have it. My whole life that needs to be put together, starting with the four small changes that I can make to bring a difference and happiness back into my world! I am motivated and ready!
