With being on the go all during the week, I often relish in having my weekends to do absolutely nothing. Truly nothing. I do have a top 5 selection that I make sure I do despite how much of my couch sees me. If you have had a busy week or even just a busy Friday, I encourage you to love on yourself this weekend and do the bare minimum essentials which are:
Decompress by stretching or enjoying a morning walk
Find a way to engage your mind without your phone
(eh um, pick up a book)
Prep meals for the week
Plan your week and month
Now, I can’t wait to get the grief from the last two. If you choose, cooking and planning can be therapeutic. Cooking allows you to hit your goals during the week and it truly is an art if you spend time on it. Sitting down and putting your thoughts and tasks down on paper is as equally therapeutic to clear your mind.
